Reaction forces ladder - Mechanics

image.jpg
Why here do you not count the reaction force that the ladder exerts on the man here? In M1 there are plenty of cases where you need to take into account the reaction force (say on inclined planes for example). Why in this case do you not count it and would get the answer wrong if you did include in the force diagram?

The question asks you to show the forces acting on the ladder; the reaction force on the man from the ladder is not acting on the ladder.

Oh yeah. I kind of answered my own question didn't I. The reaction force is the force that the ladder exerts on the man. Thanks.
