Biochemistry VS pharmacology for a someone interested in med

Hi, first post here. Not sure where to put things so hopefully this goes here (is there a Canada section?)
So I'm in Canada which will affect the info a bit but it doesn't really matter I just need a general opinion:
Will a biochemistry or pharmacology major be better as an undergrad? I want to try for med school but if I fail I want a pretty cool job with decent pay...I'm also debating if I should just do something in business/econ because that can be high paying and compensate well if I fail med (the caveat is there's no courses etc in high school for me so idk if I will hate it)
Look at course structures and pick the one that interests you most.
