Considering doing the conversion MSc in Computer Science, have a few questions.

Hi, i'm currently studying MORSE (maths, stats, econ, OR) at Warwick and am in my penultimate year of the BSc. I'm interested in doing a course like the MSc in Comp Sci at somewhere like UCL or Imperial, for thise without a background in computing. I have dabbled in R through this degree and have the oppurtunity to do a short course covering Java. I also have done some of the stuff in codeacademy, which I enjoyed. My GCSEs/A levels are not an issue.

- What can I do to make my application stand out?
- What language is best to self teach for some experience? Something like Python or should I take the Java course and 'carry it on'? What are some good general computing texts to read?
- What are job prospects like for the conversion course?

Any help appreciated, thanks!
