A-Level Maths C2 - Algebra and Functions

f(x) = x^4 + x^3 + 2x^2 + ax + b

Question: When f(x) is divided by (x + 2), the remainder is -8.
Find the value of a and the value of b.

cant seem to solve it, any help please?
So use f(-2). Equate that to the remainder -8
Sub in X=-2 into the equation and equate to -8
you need two pieces of information to find a and b.
But I don't understand how to find the two unknowns a and b.
Woops nvm
