Computer Science w/ Management? :S

heya, well i'm thinking of taking this course but as i've never done anything computer science based before i'm wondering if i should. I spoke to someone today at the department who told me it is quite maths based which is fine.

I know the course is fairly rigid in terms of the course structure and i'm wondering if it would be ideal for me as i've never studied comp sci before although i'm a quick learner. I know it is taught for beginners as well but i'm wondering how much of a disadvantage would i be at in terms of learning from scratch what others may already know? and really how difficult is it?
