Two Muslim migrants in Sweden have been charged with the hate crime murder of a gay man after they allegedly battered the victim to death before dressing him up in women’s clothing and wrapping a snake around his neck.
The two alleged perpetrators are 16-year-old and 19-year-old “refugees” from Morocco. According to prosecutors, the victim was deliberately targeted because of his sexuality. Morocco is predominantly Muslim and being gay, lesbian or transgender is illegal with punishments of up to three years in prison.
