Culture, Film and Media/Critical Theory at UoN

Hi all!

So last Friday I received confirmation I was accepted for a PhD in Critical Theory at the University of Nottingham. Problem is the only information I got about the department came from my soon-to-be supervisor and from the website. The Centre for Critical Theory is part of the department of Culture, FIlm and Media.

Does anyone have insight into the department(s)? This is quite a big deal, especially for a PhD position, even if I'm more than thrilled to join.

Additional info : my supervisors are A. Goffey, head of the Critical Theory department and John Marks, who's part of the French and Francophone studies department.
