What does "Your choice has been withdrawn mean"?

The University left no information to as why unfortunately.

Also -if its based on grades: I think it was due to the fact that I included my first year of AS results - which were not the best - where as three of my mates who also applied to the same University were accepted but did not include any of their AS results (I thought it was compulsory to include them) and we all had the same general GCSE results.

So was it a mistake to include the AS results then?
It is compulsory to include all your results, so your friends could get in trouble later on.

This was the only thing I could find - look near the bottom of the page:

You probably need to contact them for clarification, as 'withdrawn' doesn't mean the same as 'rejected'.
