Let's drive right in front of a person with a gun.
This could've been resolved easily. "Sir, please drop the gun"
If he continues to refuse to put the gun down, then you shoot, but not to kill.

Police officers are trained to USE THEIR HEADS and ASSESS THE SITUATION. Not just go in guns blazing.

Shooting a gun is really not very difficult, plus when the officer is leaving the car he's presenting a nice compact and stationary target to the shooter. Besides, one of the videos is literally a policewoman being shot by someone whilst she's in her car.
I'm not from that area nor have i ever been a cop in an area like that. The court evidence isn't shown in the article. Therefore i will not react to this.
