Do you listen to music when you revise?

Everyone tells me not to, but I just prefer it :smile:

Yes! I listen to instrumentals, though, because words distract me. Hans Zimmer, Sigur Ros and Murray Gold are particular favourites. :biggrin:

There is no right or wrong way to study - the way that works best for you is the best way. If music helps you study, do that! :biggrin:

No, I tried it once + it was awful bc I simply can't concentrate. I end up subconciously singing along, gradually doing less + less work until I somehow finally find myself across the other side of the house doing something utterly pointless, like, counting how many pennies I hold in my jar then arranging them in order of year. >.<

I used to listen to classical and jazz.

Then I realised how much I enjoyed the genres and my toe-tapping started distracting me too much :frown:

I can't listen to anything with lyrics whilst studying. It has to be classical stuff. I seem to learn better with piano based music - my fave at the moment is Chopin but I do love a bit of Mozart now and again.
