Yeah, a middle-aged man is sending sexual texts to a 17 year old girl. So what?

Simon Danczuk.

Am I supposed to give a crap? All I care about, in this context, is the fact the MSM has seemingly deemed fit to treat this girl like a 'poor, exploited, infantile female.' They are treating her like she's less than equal.

Now he's being shamed in public by our supposedly 'tolerant' MSM establishment? http://www.theguardian.com/politics/2016/jan/01/simon-danczuks-ex-wife-threatens-to-change-daughters-surname

Let's put this in context - a 21 year old girl molests an 11 year old boy and she doesn't even go to prison. She is given a suspended sentence because, apparently, she wasn't a 'normal' 21 year old woman. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3295537/Attorney-General-review-sentence-babysitter-Jade-Hatt-21-sex-11-year-old-boy-spared-jail.html

Guess what? This story - the 21 year old child molester - didn't make it onto the BBC. It made it to PerezHilton.com, and even BBC Brazil, as well as the Mirror and the Mail...but not the BBC. Not even the local pages. This.

Yet, Simon Danczuk was on the homepage of the BBC. He was in the broadcasts.

She is above the legal age of consent. She isn't being stalked, he hasn't committed an act of abuse, he isn't even morally wrong (there are no absolute morals any more, remember?) - he's just trying to get his end off.

Would we really care if the genders were reversed? Demi Moore dated Ashton Kutcher for years, with a massive age gap. The woman - at the age of 51 - then started dating a 23 year old male. She was a 'cougar.'

In what way is it '****ed up'?

In what way is it even close to being 'more ****ed up' than a 21 year old girl molesting an 11 year old boy?
Why do you keep hijacking stuff like this to find excuses to rant about how unfair you think the world is to you because you're male?
Moderately surprised not rapist Bill Cosby smh

No, it isn't. He wants to have sex with a 17 year old woman.

She is of the legal age of consent. He wants to have sex with her. Which bit is disgusting?

But not Convicted.

Nope. And it's hardly unheard of for a very large number of women to gather around a cause and try and pin an accusation of rape against a man.

Tyler Kos, 19. 13 girls conspired over Facebook to plot a 'John Tucker must die' scenario, and ruin his life.

isn't there a law about being under 18 and over 18?
that's legally, anyway, clearly a middle-aged man who has those kinds of thoughts about someone so young is not mentally right
the situation with the 21 year old female and the 11 year old boy is a lot worse, and she should've got more media attention and punishment, but that doesn't invalidate the other situation

The only one with the problem, apparently, is you. You clearly don't understand how the game is played. You attack the ball, not the man.

Don't see a problem with what he did tbh. She's legal, he's single.

I dislike that the Mail is banging on about his 13 year old daughter and paedophila in the article, as if attraction to an adult woman has anything to do with having sexual inclinations towards prepubescent kids. Full marks for totally irrelevant attempts at implying something that's not there.

No, unless, I believe, you're a teacher (there's certainly a law against this in US states).

'Not mentally right'? She's not a child (although we are treating her like one - apparently she lacks the capacity to make her own decisions), he's not a child. There's no problem.

I know it doesn't invalidate it or validate it, I'm simply pointing out a hypocrisy.
