I'm thinking of coming in September too but I'm not 100% sure about it because it is a new course and I do not have a very good experience with new courses so that is worrying me a little but (actually it is worrying me quite a lot). what are all of you planning on specialising in? I am hoping to specialise in SEN

What in particular are your worries about it being a new course? Honestly this is my firm choice on UCAS and I'd be delighted to go but I have a university to go to that is my number one choice but it's not on UCAS but the grades are very high I remember them speaking a little about specialism at the interview but it was so long ago that I can't remember but I'm pretty sure you can specialise in English? So I'd possibly like to specialise in that aspect! I wish they'd kept up the degree "primary education with history or primary education with SEN"

I wish they had kept it a four year course so that I could do primary education with SEN too. basically I have been doing a new childcare course at college and it has been a total mess. it is really disorganised, the tutors do not know that they are doing half the time and out of nowhere I have ended up doing three exams when I was not meant to have any. but that's not all, we have no resources to help me with the course like textbooks or revision resources and the tutors argue with each other about that they should be teaching us. I hope you understand why it is worrying me a little, I don't want to experience the same thing at university

Oh yes I totally get what you mean! I guess that's a risk with every new course or new beginning in any university, hopefully hope have it well organised! What is your other choices?

Thats true. I'm struggling to decide whether to go to Liverpool hope university or Cumbria University (Lancaster) at both I would specialise on SEN.
I have accepted my offer for primary teaching at hope .. for Sept 2016 were about you from xx
Late I know... I have put Liverpool hope as my firm choice for primary teaching in September! Have you heard anything about halls of residence? if you're living in that is x
Have any of use sat the skills test yet?? If so what are they like xx
I have done both mine, not as bad as I thought tbh. The practice skills tests on the education website are the best way to revise I thought. Have you booked your tests? x
