Can someone please explain to me why the nuclear family is the best type of family

Like it said in the title. It's 30 marks and I have no clue where to start, although I do know the basics and the functionalists to add. Examples would help
Thanks,

The nuclear fits the needs of modern industrial society:
~Geographical mobility
~Social mobility

Geographical mobility - Industries are always springing up and declining in different areas so its easier for the compact nuclear family to move to where the jobs are.

Social mobility - Status is achieved not ascribed in industrial society so sons can have higher status than their fathers by moving away to start their own nuclear family to avoid the status conflict that would arise if they stayed.

The nuclear family provides two functions:
~Primary socialisation
~Stabilisation of adult personalities

Primary socialisation of the young equips them with society's norms and values ensuring they integrate into society better.

Stabilisation of adult personalities enables the adults to relax and release their tensions so that they can go back to work and perform their roles efficiently.
