So nervous. As I said on the applicant thread, a second interview won't be possible due to financial reasons and the stress would kill me.

If I'm pooled, I hope it's an on-paper consideration. Shall be a tough week!

Edit: Hughes hall are indeed emailing on the 12th. Letters are posted on Monday. Thank God. The porters at my building are - shall we say - unreliable.

Good luck everyone.

I've added that to the spreadsheet - thanks!
None of you are applican'ts, you're all applicans

may I say there are only 5 days left? I'm already freaked out...
What is one's chance of getting fished out from the pool?

It's in the OP. Or the pdf linked in the 2nd post.

This is the good thing about having done terribly in your interviews and being an extreme pessimist, I was ready for rejection before I even reached the station. No nerves, woo!
Sigh. Already hanging my head in shame for the inevitable rejection.
Ah I don't like this thread :|

This is where I'll be saying my goodbyes as I venture to the UCL thread

Similarly, I shall be heading to the Bath thread on Thursday. It is most unfortunate that our roads never crossed / never will, is it not?

Unless, of course, Cambridge accepts us both.

This is the only post I'm making here, before my inevitable goodbye and departure to the Exeter thread

I see the self-deprication and pessimism has reached critical mass! Soon enough, the black bubble of misery we are encased in will be popped, for better or for worse...

It's not Tuesday yet lad
Good luck to all of you waiting the decision.

I went through this thirty-nine years ago - but we received telegrams, in those days, rather than this post or email nonsense - and my daughter suffered it (successfully) last year.

I don’t know how many of you apply to US schools and/or have been on collegeconfidential.com, so this idea may have already been floated and rejected. In which case, please feel free to completely ignore the rest of this post.

But just in case…

A very popular way to do decision threads there is to put a template in place for people to fill out, making both an easy way to keep up with everyone’s decisions as well as a good all-in-one-place reference for people applying the next year.

See: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/massachusetts-institute-technology/1841817-mit-class-of-2020-ea-results-thread.html for MIT’s EA 2020 thread to see what I am talking about.

Might be nice to implement something similar here?

Just a thought. Here is my stab at what future students might find helpful. Anyone with other ideas for what info would be valuable should feel free to modify.

Copy the section below and remove spaces when you post (of course, leaving out any information you are uncomfortable sharing):
