Official Chemistry A F325 - June 2016

Here we go! We can discuss exam questions or general content if you need help.

I won't be revising for a while but if I can help, I'll try, means less revision for me in the summer if I help people earlier on (or if people explain to me!)

module 1 is fun lots of maths so fine. Module 2 is interesting. How do you study chem? Do you do it all in one day as in only revise chem or space it out
Hm I space it out, So I revise a topic, do topic specific questions and then once I've finished all topics I'll do full past papers
What about you?

I see. Do you do past paper questions whilst you are doing the questions.

I make notes on sections from all my revision guides.

Then do the papers.

Have you seen Jan 2013 F325 lol.

equivalent to june 2015 f324.

I really think that they will change the born haber questions this year. They have been way too easy in previous papers :P

Standard titration question as the last one though :P
Hey can someone help with why it says I need to do conc/Mr on the mark scheme for the first part of this question

From what I understand, [ ] means concentration in mol dm-3, so to convert g dm-3 (another measure of conc) to [ ], you can do (conc in g dm-3)/Mr, which the mark scheme describes. I find it helpful to visualise the units: (g dm-3)/(g mol -1) = mol dm-3. Then you can rearrange for [H+] and find the pH. I hope this made sense
Omg I just did the 2015 paper for our mocks and it was quite horrific

I found it horrible because of the redox/titrations questions which was the last half of the paper. However the first half was good and pretty simple.
