i have to choose my a levels options tonight - is this a good combo

English Literature
English Language
History
Economics

my English teacher said i could take English Lit but i may struggle with it a bit but the degree i want to do requires english lit and the job i want to do requires english - what should i do
From what I have heard taking both English Language and Literature is a pain. I'd choose one of them and maybe take another humanity such as Politics or maybe Business, but it all depends on whether you enjoy those subjects and what job you want to do in the future.

If you don't mind me asking, what sector are you thinking of getting in?
Not at all - I did PE, Business Studies, Health and Social Care and Psychology. Obviously the 2 English subjects go together, and economics is heavily essay based so that will go also fit, same with history and English. It honestly doesn't matter at all, people do completely strange combinations, like myself, go with your heart and what you enjoy!
