To muslims, why is it so odd to find a white american Muslim?

No only a small piece of turkey is european. Azerbaijan is actually inbetween.

And christianity technically includes Judaism and islam... It is anyone who follows the teachings of Jesus. That's why I didn't think orthodoxy and Catholicism were the same faith. It's a broad term.

And no I edited about 10-15 minutes before you said that. You can see when you posted 8 minutes and when I edited it doesn't line up. Subtract better please.

Do you know what the definition of christianity is?

the religion based on the person and teachings of Jesus of Nazareth, or its beliefs and practices.

Both muslims and messianic Jews believe in Jesus's teachings. He's our prophet. And not all Christians praise Jesus the definition doesn't have that as mandatory. An example are Jehovah witnesses who can also be called Christian. But they don't see him as GOD either. christianity simply means you follow the teachings of Jesus. I've heard some Hindus even believe in Jesus's teachings as well. It's a very broad term.
