Should I drop English Lit
Currently in my As year and am starting to think about a history degree.
My current A levels are
- History
- English Lit
- Biology
- Music Tech
I am really not enjoying the English lit course and I was wondering if i would be able to get into a top university for history i.e Warwick, exeter, durham if i dropped it and continued with my three other a levels.
Any help would be much appreciated

Biology is fine, but Music Technology is a bit dodgy - I would be nervous about carrying that to A2 without first checking with the universities I was interested in. Send a few emails and see what admissions tutors think. That said, an A* in Music Technology is better than a C in English Lit - if you don't think you could get at least a B in English, don't do it.
