Becoming a Perfusionist....

Hi all, I was just wondering whether anyone was thinking of becoming a perfusionist? I graduated in 2014 with a first in biomedical sciences and have since been working as a clinical trials associate but I have looked into perfusion science and am really interested in it and believe it would be a great career for me. The problem I am having is that I am unsure where to begin, I know that I need to firstly secure a trainee perfusionist job but is there a particular time that these are advertised and how many positions are there usually nationally? Also what kind of experience do they look for?
