Do I need biology A level to study psychology at uni?

Hey....
I sat my maths gcse in November and received a grade C

To get on biology A level in my local 6th form,i need Maths grade B gcse 😕

I really don't want to resit my maths, it's not one of my strong subjects.

Do i definately need A level biology to study psychology in uni? Or can i choose another science? Tried googling and there's conflicating info. My careers officer in school isn't much help.

I want to get into the clinical psychology side eventually.

Tia 😊

In most cases, no specific subjects are required at A level for Psychology at university, although most will offer lower entry requirements for applicants with core sciences or mathematics at A Level.

As for GCSEs though, some will require a grade B or higher in both English and Maths at GCSE, but again, some universities allow application with a C grade in both of those subjects.

Have you tried looking up universities that you might consider going to so that you can see what their individual requirements are?
