Hi all,
I have a debate next week and I am arguing for the case that
"Pemetrexed dipotassium can only be reconstituted and diluted with dextrose 5% solution as per the Summary of Product Characteristics"
against
"Pemetrexed dipotassium can be reconstituted and diluted with sodium chloride 9 mg/ml (0.9%) solution for injection"
Now I have searched the SPC as apparantly it states it, however it doesn't! I can't find any websites or articles stating why 5% dextrose should be used as a diluent over saline...
Could anyone please give me some insight???
Thank you!
