University of Nottingham Spam

I seem to get a friend request on Facebook or a message on TSR every other day from someone associated with the university. I have no idea if it's "official" or not. Have any other applicants noticed this?
Report the messages, advertising isn't allowed.

I received one from a few random users about a Cardiff University group, thank goodness I didn't join because the CT were telling everyone to not join and report the messages sent to them!

In regards to the actual page, it doesn't look official at all. Sure, there are people who've joined the group but..meh..still seems a bit iffy to me.

Hi there,

This our official Facebook page and our official Applicants Facebook page.
We don't have anyone working at the University who adds applicants, and we're not able to do this from our official pages.

Would you be able to DM us some more details about this please?
