Probably Blast Corps, Beyond Good & Evil and Bomberman 64. But I think they've all now been universally recognised as brilliant. It was just that N64 set the bar so high.

That was an amazing game!

Well, it's more unknown than underrated

Ehh I guess. But even then I would say a lot of people know about it.
Commandos. This **** was intense.

omg I've played Manhunt 2 :colone:. I was like 12 as well, messed me up for life .
Lost Odyssey, was what Final Fantasy hasn't been for some time IMO (clearly related to the plot developer), got good reviews, but little attention.

Will also add Universe at War, old school style RTS but damn if the races weren't some of the best mechanic wise for ages and the graphics were better than many RTS who seemed to have copied the Starcraft style (not bashing it, just is quite flashy and basic, but everyone seems to copy it) the whole mobile bases/war machines for the Hierarchy was fantastic, also very mod friendly.

yeah that's what gaming was all about  loved the story, loved the missions, loved the characters
now it's all about the graphics :/ but when you remember the great games you don't remember them in bad graphics
yeah bring back them memories
I legit thought I was the only one who knows about it because every time I ask someone they're either like
"no what is that?!" or think I'm talking about Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell X'D (which was a great game too :3)

hahah too true when you play an old game for the first time in years you realise how bad the graphics were xD

One of the later levels where the guys with the pig heads are about scared me so much . I think it was in some torture chamber. The executions were crazy. I think the game was censored in the UK, but I downloaded the patch for the full gore

Hah I don't mind MK because it's all cartooney. Manhunt was like realistic, real people and the eerie atmosphere made it even scarier

yeah *shudders* that game was real cold X'D
An underrated game would be Valkyiriya Chronicles
Most underrated?

I'd probably go with Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords.

Even though it was clearly rushed out to meet a deadline as evidenced by all the plot threads that are started and never finished, unlike the 1st you start as a Jedi so the character development is more refined and balanced (seriously the only way to specialise in KotOR 1 was to play as a melee soldier then go with guardian the combat focused jedi class), it adds a huge layer of complexity to the lore introduced in KotOR 1 (which is already good), the story is excellent and the benefits of working with your squad are huge (I also can't express enough how good a move it was that squaddies you didn't take with you also levelled, so instead of having 2 or 3 squaddies you use all the time because they're the only ones levelled, you can use lore or mission appropriate squaddies because they'll have all levelled).

In summary excellent game that could have been pretty much the perfect star wars game and it gets ever close because some modders have created the lost content mod that finishes the missing side quests.
SSG's Warlords.
