Scholes - Has there been a better long passer of the ball?

It would be interesting to see a poll from now and from 5 years ago, asking to rank Keane, Giggs, and Scholes. I wonder how large the differences would be.


No difference at all. Keane was 1st then and he still is now.

I reckon that quite a few people have forgotten Keane was 1st, and if you took a poll now, he'd have fewer votes than he would have previously. He gets far less media coverage than Scholes and Giggs.
Yh I remember one time he scored a goal from his own half.

ON A 7 ASIDE PITCH INTO AN EMPTY GOAL.

Like I and many others haven't done that before.

Good player but he's not even near the best PL starting XI. Best long range passer is xabi alonso. If scholes was that good, he'd be a regular set piece taker.
