Perhaps "I'm a college student who has some writing issues. In particular, I struggle with grammar however my punctuation is also at times also an issue".

I've highlighted "however" because I don't think it reads too well within your sentence.
I'm assuming you didn't mean to write "also" twice, so let's ignore that.

From reading your sentence, I can interpret two different ways you may have intended on using "however".

1 - In particular, I struggle with grammar; however, my use of punctuation is also an issue.

2 - In particular, although I mainly struggle with grammar, my use of punctuation is also an issue.

The former. Well this is awkward.

OP, I apologize for thinking you were male.

No

Why not? Are you going to explain anything about declensions here or are you just gonna say you're not right or it would probably be better as X? This should not be an opportunity to inflate your own ego.

You would not say 'Whose' shall I say calling since this would mean that the calling is belonging to the other person.
'Who's' is a contraction of 'Who is', which would also not make sense.
The word 'whom' would be used as 'To whom am I calling', not 'whom shall I say is calling'. The answer is 'who'.

An hour ago we met a history teacher

If the next word begins with a 'vowel sound', use an.

If not, use 'a'.

Okay.

Test:

I thought it was a good day- it was Sunny.

Various options depending on the meaning:

I thought it was a good day. It was sunny.

I thought it was a good day since it was sunny.

I thought it was a good day; it was sunny.

I have a personal dislike of semi-colons. You can usually use a different and clearer way to express yourself. The capital S is a mistake unless "Sunny" is a proper noun of some kind.

Oh, but why can't I use a dash?

I like semi-colons
I sometimes struggle too which is ironic as I have a GCSE in English.

You didn't explain why. You just said the other versions weren't right but why weren't they? That is not teaching anyone.

You can use it.

Or a proper adjective.

You probably mean the em dash (so named as it is the same length as the letter "m" when typesetting).

This is a punctuation mark that can be used in placed of brackets or colons typically, neither of which apply here IMO.

I was predicted an E, but, surprisingly achieved a C.
