Hi,

I have recently suspended my studies and I am carrying on from this September. I received a Student Finance payment a few days before suspending, I was wondering when I will have to pay this back?

Hi bethjmatthews.

That payment may have gone into what is called 'overpayment' which means we've given you it for a period you're not actually attending.

You can either call us and pay it back, or when you do return to study your future entitlement will be reduced in order to balance it out.

It's up to you which option you would like to take.
