    Avenue Q
Who has seen this in the West End? I think I am becoming obsessed with it, going again to see it on June 1st!! It is absolutely fantastic!!

The lead female, Julie Atherton who plays Kate Monster and Lucy the Slut is the best in the show IMO, and is definitly worth the money just seeing her alone!!

But yeah, who else has seen it, or is planning to go see it? June 2nd is the Cast change for this year, and about 3 people are leaving, so I'd recommend seeing it beforehand if you want to go see it

Oh boy did I love this show, the singing and performing was out of this world. I have to say my bf and I fell in love with Trekkie Monstor who ruined Katie Monstor with the Internet is for Porn song. I personally would see it again before the end of the summer. I loved the show from start to finish. I loved Christmas Eve when she sang it sucks to be me.

"The internet is for PORN!" Legend! Love this musical, wasnt sure about the puppeters (sp?) being on stage with the characters at first, but it works really well!

I want to go and see it again, I particuarly loved the energy in which the actors had running up and down stage to be different characters/puppets. I loved how the characters and actors played both human and puppet characters. Its like nothing I have seen before. I believe that my bf enjoyed the show, he was cackling and laughing at bits maybe I didn't find funny but we had a good time.

My friends asked me whether I wanted to go and see this. I've heard some really negative things about it but on the other hand, there are so many people raving about it too! What is the musical about? Also, do you think seats in the dress circle is good enough?

no matter where you sit you are not that far from the stage. its pretty small theatre. go for it, aim for the middle if you can Excalibur. I assure you will have a great time.

    (Original post by Excalibur)
    What is the musical about?
Basically about one guy (Princeton) who has left college and is out to find his 'purpose', he ends up living on Avenue Q - and, without giving anything anything away, you are just watching the lives of his and others who live round him!

That's the v basics, there are various sub-plots and things, just didn't know how much you wanted to know! Look here for pretty much word for word what happens!!

Oh! And most of the characters are puppets (With pretty damn good puppeteers!)
