Allergic to boyfriend

Okay so, I've been with my boyfriend for two years. At the start of our relationship, if we kissed a bunch then I'd get a bit of a tummy ache, and his saliva would sometimes give me red bumps. I can't be in any form of contact with his semen either (vomiting, red bumps, itchiness). I went to a sexual health clinic to talk about being allergic to semen and I was laughed at by one nurse. It was a problem during sex and for contact in general. I didn't know if it was his diet or what, it's taken a long time to calm down but it's a lot better than it was. We haven't done anything different, but I know (from what I've researched) that encountering these substances more could weaken(?) the allergy. I was just wondering if *anybody* had a similar problem? If so, how have you dealt with it?
It's not unknown, and I'm quite shocked at the nurse laughing at it.

Presumably you use condoms? Have you had any other partners and, if so, anything similar with them? Is it worth asking the GP about getting a referral to an allergy clinic (perhaps without mentioning the semen bit...)?

This is my first sexual partner, I've had sex with & without condoms (I have an implant) but I've also been tested for any STDs and I'm clear regarding that. I haven't had anything similar when kissing other people though!
I'm a bit knocked down after my first nurse, I mean saying "I think I'm allergic to my boyfriend" is a bit of a weird thing. I wouldn't really know how to go about it and I wonder how *they'd* even go about treating something like that.
I told my mom and she called up a sexual health clinic, but they said they couldn't really help in any way. I suppose a GP is probably the only real way of finding if there's any chance of an answer though.

I think your GP would be a good start.
If they laugh at anything you say just tell them that you've got the GMC on speed dial. That would get them to take you seriously and if they haven't come across the condition before then hopefully they will do some research for you or refer you on to a specialist.
Good luck.

"I was laughed at by one nurse" - The NHS at it's finest. Seriously though go to your gp.

Yeah I have been with my boyfriend for two years as well. And occasionally after sex or fingering (this is embarrassing) I get itchy down there. It goes away after a few days though so I haven't gotten any medical help. But every time no matter what I itch for a while. It's really annoying and I don't know how to resolve this.
Guess I'll just overdose on allergy medication

I remember researching a while ago and found that places would give you injections of their bodily fluids to help you build up an immunity or something towards it? Being much more sexually active has helped and I don't get anything like it unless we haven't had any interaction for a month or so and even then, it much milder than at the beginning of our relationship! Make sure to be tested for STDs and things and if you find something that works then please share!!
It's not uncommon. I'd suggest going to your GP and perhaps contacting medical health professionals online. I'm not sure what there is in way of a cure, but it might be worth your boyfriend trying out a different diet and seeing if anything changes. It's entirely up to you if you want to expose yourself to it further, but medication would probably be a much safer bet.
Sounds like your boyfriend has fleas. probably best to either douse him in chemicals or if he refuses to co-operate trade him in for a better looking one.
