Chances are you will do different topics at AS Level anyway.

At my sixth form it was not a requirement that you need GCSE History :smile:

yeah a few people at my school did it without GCSE knowledge, u can with most humanities..im doing geography without having done it at GCSE...

do u mean learn it yourself or take extra classes??

Take extra classes. I only do 3 AS's at the moment as I found out what a mind numbingly boring subject Law is to late in the year for me to do another subject instead.
Definitely. About half of my AS class hadn't done GCSE.
It should be possible.

I'd recommend, however, that you look over some GCSE level study guides and so on to work out the skills and so on that you've not had from GCSE. I'm assuming you took History until Year 9; GCSE is, practically, just an extension of all the source skills, etc., and AS a further extension but with the added bonus of greater analysis and more intellectual challenge.

I'm doing it for AS now without GCSE and I seem to be getting good grades :smile:
