I've wanted to become a doctor for quite a while, but giving up a pretty well paid (unrelated) career with mortgage and family responsibilities has been a daunting decision. I'm still not certain we will manage!
Ultimately, I'll never forgive myself if I don't do it, and I'm not getting any younger!
Fingers crossed!

I have always been interested in people and the societal infrastructure that affects us and the choices we make. That saying - "Money makes the world go round" i believe is pretty much referring to economic climate and the scarce resources which influences us. I did study biochemistry for 2 years (when i was 18) but realized this wasn't for me and began working (pretty much everywhere ) in search of something more meaningful to match my on personal desires. Ended up in a real estate investment consultancy firm and never looked back and so here I am , applying to study a course at the same 3 universities as the 3 partners who set up the firm 80 years ago. Sounds like a fairy tale really lol

Have you looked into foundation courses? Durahm University, for example, has a foundation programme for "mature learners with no formal qualifications". Other unis might offer such programmes too.

There's an 18 year old on my Access course Jawed!
Does anyone know if extenuating circumstances for previous years of education need to be included on a extenuating circumstances form? Nothing's going on that'll effect my current predicted grades, but there are reasons for past bad grades.

Yeah would still be helpful as advised by my current uni choices. I am applying to study education through my foundation course which i have already completed, along with mathematics A levels. LSE, Cambridge and UCL all recommended I submit extenuating circumstances for my previous A levels despite it being 6 years ago. Hopes this helps
