Dressing for interview

I have a graphic design interview soon and was wondering what would be the correct dress code for this, smart casual, smart, casual?
Uh, I don't know if you are a guy or a gal, but I'd go smart casual. Maybe jeans and a dress shirt with no tie. If you are female, go for a long skirt and smart top or jeans and a smart top. It really depends On what the company is like. I'd always wear some hung smart that you can de-smart later.
