Employability and Landing a Job offer after Post grad (MSc)

So, I have an experience of 9+ years in IT out of which I worked in the UK for 2 years on Tier 2 ICT (Short Term) during 2012-2013 and 2015-now and I am now considering on doing a Postgrad in the UK in my chosen field, after my current tier 2 expires, in order to get hold of a degree in the UK. Sort of late but better than never.

What I want to ask is what are my chances of employability/Landing a Job offer with Tier 2- general sponsorship after I finish my Msc. Does having 9+ years of industry experience give me a chance to be more likely to bag a job EASILY ? I do have contacts made in these 9 years with whose help I MAY be able to get a job offer but I am just asking in general How difficult is it to convert a Tier-4 student visa to a Tier 2 - general visa for an experienced person like me ?
