What percentage of applicants actually get offers to study medecine?

I'm hoping to become a doctor and I know it is very competitive. If I picked Biology,Physics,chemistry and maths what grades would i need to get at A-levels to study medicine.

To answer the question in your thread title, there are about 8000 places available at medical schools in the UK, and each year about 21,000 people apply. So the chances of getting an offer overall are about 40%.
