A* under new A-Levels?

I'm currently in year 12, studying AS-Levels. How do I achieve an A* in A2 (specifically in history, but any examples or insight will help) under the new reformed A-Levels?

You might want to have a look at the Student Guide to A-level reforms here? There is no A2 anymore, and the AS level exams you do this year won't count towards the full a-level next year, so you'll basically do the exams again next year. Hope that makes sense, the guide I linked explains it :h:
