How to store nuclear waste? Contradicting resources
For high level radiation:
Textbook- Some of this waste is mixed with molten glass and contained in stainless steel drums before careful storage.
Bitesize- Stored underwater in large pools for 20 years, then placed in storage casks in purpose-built underground stores where air can circulate to remove the heat produced. High level waste decays into intermediate level waste over many thousands of years.
These seem to contradict on low, intermediate and high level as well as other things.
