The lectures are actually fantastic because they tend to be in depth and as law students we are encouraged to ask questions throughout. The workshops and seminars further cover what we cover in lecture but in more detail interns of relevant case law and statute.
In terms of parties i believe its genuinely down to each individual. Most students like myself plan ahead so if we have a gathering, party or an event on or off campus we tend to complete our work before hand so being out late doesn't feel like a guilt.
This has been an amazing week as working with National Student Survey (NSS) has been a huge success on campus and proud to say that me and my colleagues worked very hard to make it possible but it was not all work. We got to party and socialise with new and old students on campus, share photographs and I've personally ended up with so many new friends.

On Tuesday i got the results back for my Land Law coursework and happy to have received a good 2:1 so have to say the hard work is paying off along the way. Decided to celebrate with my friends and ended up at a superb Turkish restaurant called Selale in Harringay followed by bowling in Acton. I have to point out that studying law isn't just about working hard and knowing your stuff but also learning to balance life with academics.

I was approached by a 1st year LLB student on Friday who needs helps with mooting and typing up draft of court submissions so its an exciting time for me personally.

Saturday took part as a Course Ambassador in the open day for Law&Politics school with given the opportunity to meet many of you first hand and answering any queries that you've had. During this i have also discussed with a tutor about opportunity to assist in research and writing of a legal paper. As many of you should be well aware that MDX Law school is second to none at publication of researcehed based papers that have been the influence of many recent policy changes of UK parliament and lots more to follow in the near future.

Any questions in regards to my activities in specific or opportunities available to yourself as students, do not miss the chance to ask!!

This week was my reading week, which gave me time to catch up with my reading of modules! Monday, I began by printing out all of my slides formy modules in the library followed by adding the annotations to my slides. This continued on to the following two days.

On Thursday I began research for my assignmenton Immigration Law, which is partially based on Human Rights of the migrants. It went really well as I have in my second year of LLB studied Human Rights as my optional module so there were a lot of relevance I took from my previousnotes. Despite this the thorough research did take me the entire day in campus library.

I chose Friday to rest and recover from my academics as a well-needed break always helps. This gave me the opportunity to make lunch plans with my university friends to go out for dinner and a movie.

The dinner and the movie was then followed by me being dropped off at my work by friends, from where I was sent to the Brecon Beacons (Wales) for a weekend of intense military exercise. I have to admit Iam super tired right now as not have slept the entire weekend does take its toll on the body but I am rather looking forward to my next week back in university

First week back my reading week, which gave me time to catch up with my reading of modules! Monday, I began buying statutes books for exams.

On Wednesday I got the result back for my CHILD&FAMILY LAW assignment and it was well worth the hard work as I achieved a 1st in my 50% submission, I have to admit that despite the thorough handwork of researching in campus library the results surely paid off. Overall all this has been a tough week as I have had temperature since Tuesday morning but studies have to always take priorities.

I had the opportunity to literally call hundreds of potential applicants for law and politics this week to confirm their attendance on Saturday for applicant’s day. Those who could not attend asked me various questions on all elements of studies from modules to exams to social life on campus.

The applicant’s day itself was an amazing opportunity to meet many of them and share personal experience as often parents and students want honest advice about all aspects of university life. The appreciation from my tutors and colleagues is actually well worth assisting in such successful events.

Monday was a good day as i got a call back from university in regards to my application to go and study Masters in Law at a university in America. Great opportunity as the fees will be paid for my the university and only 2 students get to go there.

Tuesday was my day off from university so spent some of it in the gym on campus and reading books that had no relevance to my studies whatsoever but its a good break from the norms of being a 3rd year student.

Wednesday morning was the interview which i feel now that i was overly dressed for as all of my tutors in my seminars were rather impressed too. The interview in it self was the shortest every as the tutor only asked me one question following his comments that "considering my previous lifestyle it would be an insult to expect more" so still over whelmed by that remark. Now all i have to do is wait for a response which will come through on monday by email.

Thursday I've mainly spent looking for a new house as i am moving out of my current one so fingers crossed i should get a decent place.

Friday i got to work with 63 different universities on campus who came for the sole purpose of representing themselves to visitors from numerous colleges from across London. It was super busy and a great even all in all with a lot of banter between the student ambassadors and the visitors.

Once again the start to my week was superb as i was invited to an interview for "Pupillage" at one of the prestigious law firms in London. the interview was very detailed and they asked me a variety of questions based on my CV and experiences in previous jobs. At the end i was pleased with the outcome as they have offered me a two year training contract once i have qualified as a Barrister.

Tuesday, i received a call from a prospect in USA who wishes to join MDX in October 2016 but had a lot of concerns about the content being offered by universities in UK and how the system maybe in terms of pretty much everything. I am glad to say that at the end of it i was useful to him and wish him all the best in his endeavours.

Wednesday was a relatively silent day for me as i spent most of it in the campus library printing out slides from my Land Law lectures to begin revising for the exams. Thats when i also confirmed my exam dates that are spread over a month so should give me a fair break between exam assessment.

I spent my thursday attending all of my lecture as most are merged into this specific day and so much can be missed just by not turning up for one day.

Good Friday was of from campus so me and some of my university friends spent that on campus having lunch followed by spreading onto different floors of the library to get some revision done before we met again to go out for movie at a cinema nearby. It sure was a eel deserved break from the norms of university and we all needed it desperately.

This entire weekend I've spent training away from home so couldn't get any revision or assignment done but all in all it has been a relatively successful weekend.
