Urgent - Should I do F322 again?

My AS UMS is 219.

I have got 60 on the cwk in A2.

I am aiming for an A* hopefully.

So I would need 210 UMS in the two A2 exams out of 240 UMS, and 201 UMS for an A?

I got a C on F322..

Please can I have advice today, the deadline for entreis to the centre is today.

So just to be clear - going for A* (I sincerely hope)

219/300 AS

-/240 in 2 A2 papers

60/60 in A2 CWK?

heya, yeah I totally bombed f322 omg.

Yes that is correct.

So from the two modules out of 240 UMS, I would need 210 for an A* and 201 for an A.

I also have this potential exam schedule:

Wednesday 8thJune (Morning): A2 Maths M1 (6677)AND A2 Further Mathematics FP2(6668).Friday 10th June (Afternoon): AS Chemistry F322. Tuesday 14th June (Morning): STEP 1 (Afternoon): A2 Chemistry - F324 Friday 17thJune (Afternoon): AS Further Mathematics D1(6689) AND AS Further Mathematics M2(6678).

Any of your offers include chem?

Hmm okay. This is now gonna be about how much you trust your chemistry ability.

I personally think 105/120 in each paper is doable (in physics atleast) and knowing you you'll probably get much higher. So in my opinion I think if you're gonna get 201 UMS, you'll probably get the extra 9 UMS and end up with an A*. BUT if you do mess up somewhere, you most probably will end up with lower than A. tl;dr small chance of A.

So do you think you can get 105/120 in each? Because your exam schedule looks tough, but I reckon you can do it and in fact focus on A2 even more by giving AS a miss

No they don't, having said that I honestly believe I can get 3A* in maths, fm and physics. However chemistry is my weaker subject and I am at a B atm imo.

Thanks I have been thinking that too, it is most likely that I will either end up with an A* or a B..

My first papers is 90, and second is 150 - I don't do edexcel/aqa

I think I can manage if I don't do resit - I will have to work very very hard in chemistry, and studying as subject module - where the a star won't have any effect, really since if I get the 270 UMS in A2 I will get the A*.

Its tricky though tbh, if it was before the week off I would definitely do it, but I imagine I would be fairly tired from m1 and fp2 - and I have a whole week off.

I will email the centre and see what the cost is..

The disadvantage in doing this module is that it will eat up more tiem that I need for my subjects particularly chemistry.

So with all things considers, I think not to do it - is that a good outlook to think tbh.

Thanks for your help too :P

I think in retrospect I was perhaps deeming M2 maybe too hard.

My potential A2 fm modules are M2, FP2, S2 and S3 - what are yours

I think it's alright except for restitution (the ones with 3+ objects just piss me off) and maybe moments.

Good selection

For me it will be FP2, FP3 M2/S2 (whichever doesn't go in to Maths), and M3
If you think you might get an A* do not re-sit.

If you think there is a chance you might get a B, resit.

Thanks, are you doing 13 modules then?

I initially decided to do afm, but I don't think it is worth compromising grades - and also it is a lot more expensive too.

M3/S3 is a good choice since it is one of the few exams before the week off.

FP3 and S2 clash don't they? :P

I have decided to go to the former

In total yes  + studying M4/M5 without the exam

Yeah that's true which is another reason I'm not taking the exams. It costs 100 quid per exam for us. Not worth sacrificing grades for another AS noone cares about. Yeah it's gonna be my first

And I think so - they're my last exams too so that sucks

Oh my goddd imagine!

Or the girl that did 10 or whatever A levels and then got rejected by Oxford :colonhash: I bet she wasn't impressed...

Unit 4 = centripetal stuff yes.

oh yeah I remember - Laura spence or something.

imo oxbridge is the best undergrad and us is best for postgrad - the us first year just seems like a2 tbh, also all the general classes are crap lmao. I think it is better here and more specialised.

Although harvard is harvard :d

My friend says she does maths/computer science classes and she intends to major in eng lit lmao.
