i want to do chartered accounts but am unsure which uni course in accounts i should do in London?
currently i am doing Economics business(going to drop) accounts and ICT

You can do any business/economic university course and still be an accountant.
In london, if you wanted absolute best it would probably be Economics at LSE, to be in with a shout for the most competitive places. But accountancy is that competitive, and you could go to any london uni and get into an accounting firm because they will judge you based on the job interview as well.
That being said, I am doing an Accountancy degree because it gives me professional accreditation, so i don't have to do all the exams when i want to become chartered. That may be something to look into, but make sure you want to go into that career, because doing a more general degree will help you if you change your mind.
