Slut shaming

I don't get why female singers/performers/whatever/etc are constantly slut shamed if they wear something short for example and if a guy is shirtless then he's praised for it and they don't get for it????

#I know this is random but i me and friend were talking about it the other day.#
double standards exist and it's pretty shitty.

It's like Christina Aguilera says in can't hold us down
slut shaming roflmao
:rofl: :rofl2::rofl3:
There's no such thing as a slut when used in a derogatory way.

If a woman chooses to be 'promiscuous' and enjoys sex, I fail to see anything wrong with this. If she's safe and happy, who tf are other people to judge?

ikr probs people who are sad that they have no 'excitement' in their life lmao
Double standards exist between both sexes e.g. male focused violence is largely ignored/sexually promiscuous women are called sluts. Just the way things are. Doesn't make it any less shitty though.

double standards are ****ed up.
Pretty sure these celebs get praised more then the negativity, and it's not like they aren't sluts anyways if their asses are sticking out boobs falling out of their bra wearing No top. If the shoe fits.

Actually i hate it when male performers get their tops off. You can pretty much tell off the bat that they have no musical talent and are really soft porn stars dressed up as musicians. An exception might be the odd rapper, I mean more boy band members with no talent who rip their shirt off.

Heyyy! We meet again:tongue:
This things honestly gets to me. Like people slobber all over justin beiber/nick jonas on the brink of nakedness holding their crotches yet still females showing a lil clevage or decide to bring out their inner sexy beast they get called hoe's/sluts/"asking for it"
Mind you girls put other girls down..something I'll never understand:unimpressed:

But men wise there are also double standards. Like if a female who is more curvier/has some meat on her for example goes out with a guy who is of what is considered "normal" in society sizewise-and somebody calls her fat, people go in defence of her.
Whilst If it was the guy in that position, he would constantly get abuse for it/hate. Cause apparently that way round can't be accepted:colonhash:

Society...
It's just effed up these days
I think the Donald Trump vibe is getting everywhere:ahhhhh:

Spoiler

womens asses/tits are far more... how would i say, 'precious' to them than men?
it really doesnt matter if a man has his shirt off, hes not showing anything explicit

if a woman grabbed a mans chest, he would never moan or feel sexually assaulted
the same does not apply to a woman

therefore she is effectively putting on display her most private areas of her body for attention
thats why there is slut shaming

but things that get censored are nipples and we all have them??!!( and everyone has boobs- girls are usually bigger than guys. i don't know how to explain it) but the definition of a slut is a woman who sleeps around a lot so i don't see what thats got to do with wearing short or revealing clothes bc it's your body and you can choose whatever clothes you want to wear without ppl calling you a slut.

people judge, you cant change that
and certain judgements are rooted in reality more than others
if you have the private areas of your body on show, people will see this as a signal as basically saying 'im sexual and im very open about it' = i like to sleep around
