A2 music: lieder. help!
can anyone explain to me the key differences and characteristics of Lieder (German Art-song) between Schumann and Schubert. All i seem to have gathered is that Schumann took off where Schubert left off, and both give the piano integral roles in the meaning of the text.

if anyone knows anything about Brahms and Wolf's lieder as well, that'd be good too.

ummm i recommend you download their tracks and just listen out for them. the subtleties come sometime and you still ahve the time before monday!!
i am actually petrified about monday. my listening excercises are very strange and i cant' do them well at all. i need to be saved too.
