C2 co-ordinate geometry urgent help needed

You could start by finding the gradient of the line which goes from the center of the circle to the point (7,-10), as the tangent will be perpendicular to this line.

I don't remember doing that question last year. They would have to give you the equation of the line unless they want you to differentiate that (which requires C3 and C4 knowledge)

All you have to do, is find the coordinates of S and T and then make a little sketch - the traigbel formed will be a right angled triangle, formed by the origin and the points S and T.
