SUVAT: for each question write down s, u, v, a, t. Fill in the values that are given in the question. Put a question mark next to the variable(s) that you need to find. Put a cross next to any variables that you don't know and don't need to find. Then select the correct equation from the data booklet, rearranging if needed. As long as you know at least three of s, u, v, a, t, you can always work out the unknown values.
