Highlight help!

I want to get rid of my half-head of blonde highlights. I naturally have dark brown hair and was wondering what's the best way to go about this. Can I do this myself? And if so,how?

Thanks
If you want to go back to your natural hair colour, you should first colour your hair red...sometimes if you don't fill it with red and just put the dark colour on top of the blonde after a couple washes your hair can look green or have a funky undertone.

How likely is that to happen do you know?
Don't dye your hair red!!!! Blonde highlights then dyed red will turn brassy and orange after a few washes - learn from my mistake!

You are best to ask your hair dresser for advice but just dying it over with the same colour brown to match your natural hair would do the trick. Yes the highlighted sections will go a lighter brown after a while but after a few dyes it won't.

When I I wanted to get rid of my half-head of blonde highlights, I dyed my hair in brown colour like this (almost my natural shade)
