Is UCL very social/good student life?

I was just wondering since it is not a campus university. Is it easy to meet people since I am assuming most would probably go out and eat rather than stay on campus to eat at a campus restaurant?
It's still quite campus-esque. Lots of societies and activities, if you make the effort you will have loads to do! I'd recommend doing a sport, doesn't matter if you're not good, try something new.
