Wanting to know more about the city/student life.

I'm planning on moving to Derby to attend University this September and just want to know what the city itself is like as well as the student life/nightlife.
I'm from Liverpool so obviously it's a place known for it's nightlife amongst other things.

Any input would be good, thanks!
What subject will you be studying? I'm deciding on whether to choose Derby. I would like to know what the accommodation is like.

Well it'd be a foundation (due to stupid past choices) to either an exercise/health degree 'cause I'm a qualified PT but then the other option would be a marketing or management foundation degree because I've previously studied them to an extent and liked them.

One of my best mates moved to Derby too, he said it's an amazing place to go to Uni but I still want a few other opinions before I decide. I'm also going to visit him soon so I'll be able to get a feel for the city while I'm there.

What are you planning on studying?
I am planning on studying Events Management BA Honours
