Scottish Secondary School

At the end of this year (GCSE) I may be moving over to Glasgow to do highers. I was wondering if anyone here goes to St.Ninians as that would probably be the school I would go to, I just wanted to know what highers they make compulsory and generally what highers are like. Also, if anyone knows what sort of chances I have of getting in as I know its quite a good school. Thanks

Highers are further on than GCSE's and not as far as A-Levels. Most schools encourage pupils to pick 5 Highers. What year will you be going into? S5 or S6?

I will be going into S5 then hopefully to university, but I've seen for some schools that Maths and English is compulsory, I don't mind doing Maths because I would be picking it anyway, but I'm not the best at English so I just need to know how the school works.
