My answer to IYGB Special Papers: The Advanced Mathematics Extension Paper

Presenting the Advanced Mathematics Extension Paper: I could hardly let TeeEm have a monopoly over A-Level extension material. The attached paper should all be doable with A-Level material, except that for Question 10 (on circle geometry) you might need the intersecting chords theorem (look it up).

This paper took over 2 hours to put together, so please don't redistribute it without permission. Also give reputation if you find it useful.

You should really learn LaTeX, it will make your papers look that much better. As for substance, I didn't try it but it looks nice. I also really like the idea of the five marks for presentation, style etc.

I hope you change your attitude, because no matter how good these are, if nobody can tolerate you, nobody will listen to you. Plus you might end up getting banned, which would be kind of a loss. But everyone will get over it in a heartbeat, so don't think you're indispensable. In summation don't be a coq (au vin)!

I used Microsoft Word's Equation Editor which creates the same appearance as LaTeX. Also I will never comply with their rules, as my principles will not be compromised that easily. REVOLUTION!

Wow, I don't do maths but this looks very professional and clean. Good work man! Who is this specifically aimed if you don't mind telling me? AS students, A2? C1,C2 and so on or just really smart people?

As it says in the first post, it's for A-Level students, although Question 10 requires some knowledge of geometry that is no longer on the syllabus.

Is one of your principles depriving people from thinking, learning and discovering on their own? Because that's what giving full solutions does. You know, even on Stackexchange, where you're kind of supposed to give out solutions, the askers must supply a "healthy dose" of working out and explaining how they have gone about solving the problem. On TSR they don't delete the questions immediately, they try to work with the asker to "extract" how the asker might go about solving the problem. Yes that requires more work, but we're working with A-level and lower students, so you need patience.

My mistake, I just clicked the PDF and was pretty overwhelmed haha.
