OCR - History: F965 Investigations Task

I've been struggling with my history coursework, in terms of looking for sources and knowing how to start writing my coursework up. I'm doing Question 19.8 To what extent was the Vietnam War lost because of the hostility of much of the American media? If anyone is doing this question or has any general help and support that they could offer that'd be amazing and I'd really appreciate it!

Hi, I am doing this exact same one but am also struggling with the structure!
have you been given any general guidance that you found useful?
We were told to write out coursework in the structure of a report, but I really don't know where to start with it

Exactly that same issue! But it is so tricky. I have no idea where to even begin. Hamlin (The Uncensored war) is a great source though! He dispels the belief that media was the reason for withdrawal.
Hi, same coursework but i am doing the fall of napoleon 12.c, anyone else?
Ive been told that its not supposed to be a report at all , more a debate style or thematic essay

-focus on all 4 passages
-evaluate through contextual knowledge and cross reference!
- asses the whole interpretation not just parts of it
-evidence to back up (own knowledge)
- decide whether you agree with the historian?
-does the historian look at the overall picture?

eg. cross reference:
-A say that napoleon downfalls as due to conspiracy
- B claims that/oppose that his downfall was due to the role of nationalism
- I think B has a stronger case because…..
- Link back to the question

Does anybody have an exemplar paragraph they could PM me. I am doing Cromwell so not the same topic but the structure needed will be.
