Incoming American student looking for some accommodation dvice
Hello everyone! My name is James, and I'm an American student who has been offered a place in Hertfordshire's Sound Design Technology program for 2016. I'm looking for some advice about what living in the U.K is like, and what accommodation options might be best for me. I like how most of the university's dorms and amenities look, but as someone who would prefer a relatively peaceful living environment (not many loud parties), should I consider looking more toward off-campus living for my first year? And if so, what kind of rent rates should I be looking for? Would renting a flat or house with some other students be a smart option?
