C2 finding area of a sector

The diagram shows two circles, each of radius 4cm, with each one passing through the centre of the other. Calculate the shaded area. (Hint: add the common chord AB to the sketch)


"Common chord" - a line between the to points where the paths of the two circles meet.
Help please - I presume you have to find theta. Can someone explain to me how you do this?
